Repair Service Instructions

  • Got a DS, DS Lite, PSP, PS2 Slimline, PS3, Ipod, Xbox 360 that needs repairing?
  • Drop off available or mail order
  • Give us a ring on 0113 2328477 (Mon - Sat, 10 - 4) or 07932 583319 (Mon - Sat, 10 - 7).
  • All Console(s)/Ipod(s) sent though the post must be sent with full payment - (Unless unsure of repair cost)
  • Send your Console(s)/Ipod(s) to us with full payment (Cash or Uncrossed Postal Order, WE DO NOT ACCEPT: cheques, crossed postal orders or Pay Pal for repairs)
  • Please follow the following steps to ensure a hassle free repair:
    • Include your contact details with package, as a minimum we need: Return Address, Name, Day time telephone number (work/mobile number)
    • Include explanation of fault(s) and history (why the problem has occurred, what happened?)
    • Package your Console/Ipod ensuring its *well packaged
    • Send your Console/Ipod to us via *recommended method
    • To check we have received your console, simply check you’re tracking number.

 

  • Receive your repaired console back
    • When the repair is completed we will call you to let you know

*Well packaged – you need to ensure its packaged well enough to make sure no further damage happens to the console in transit.  Recommended: Hard Carry cases inside padded envelope, Box with bubble wrap padding.

 

*Recommended methods:

Ipods, PSP, Ps2 Slimline, Nintendo DS & DS Lite = Special Delivery

PS3, Wii, Xbox & Xbox 360 = Abacus Express or Parcel 2 Go

 

*Recommended methods are ones which are the cheapest for next day insured delivery.  *Sending consoles/ipods by other methods/not well packaged are done at your own risk

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Problems that have occurred, and changes that have been made to improve our service:

Payment problems occurred due to not receiving payment with repairs, because it caused delays, some payments could not be accepted though Pay Pal because some addresses were unconfirmed on Pay Pal.  Cheque/Crossed postal order payments also caused delays because we had to wait for payment to clear before sending repaired consoles back.

We now only accept Cash or Uncrossed postal orders for repair service payments to offer the fastest most reliable service available.  Drop offs are also available for people who want to save on postage.

Some people are still send consoles via 1st class/1st class recorded delivery, this is NOT recommended.  Special delivery is the recommended method because it’s guaranteed next day delivery and it’s fully insured up to £500, so it’s safe.
